FAQs
When should I begin chiropractic care for my pet?
Chiropractic care can be beneficial at any stage of your pet’s life. Some owners choose to start early as a part of a preventative wellness plan, while others begin when they notice signs like stiffness, limping, difficulty getting up, or changes in behavior. Chiropractic is also helpful after injuries or surgery to support recovery and restore mobility. Whether your pet is young, active, or a senior companion, chiropractic care can help them move comfortably and stay healthier longer.
How many visits will my animal need?
Every animal is different. Some improve in just a few visits, while others with chronic issues may need ongoing care. Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your animal’s unique needs.
What happens during a chiropractic appointment?
Appointments typically include:
Review of your animal’s health history
Physical and mobility assessment
Gentle, specific adjustments
Recommendations for follow-up care
Do I need a referral from my veterinarian?
No. Dr. Cady Perry is certified in animal chiropractic by the AVCA, and a vet referral is not needed.
